Sunday February 22nd - Second Run Out of the Year

Despite very persistent wet Gloucestershire weather, the day of our run out was very pleasingly dry and sunny. We all gathered at Sainsbury's Car Park in Barnwood (To avoid further parking disagreements!).
We soon left as a party of 7 to enjoy the delights of a jaunt across the Cotswolds. Painswick, The Camp, Sapperton, Minety, Nailsworth, Wotton Under Edge, we all toured through or round. The first road closure we encountered we declined & proceeded in a new direction, but the second one we pressed on (and it wasn't actually closed) we then wenton to a welcome Coffee Stop at The Farmer's Barn which had a very toasty fire burning & great coffee. When the nattering finally died down, we all went on our separate ways home. Around 80 miles to keep the cars moving on some clean, but mainly muddy roads through some very beautiful villages.
The sun was a very welcome addition to the days activities. Really looking forward to the next run out on March 22nd 2026
