Sunday January 25th - First Run Out of The Year
This was our first run out of the New Year to blow the cobwebs away and get our cars warmed up.
2 x Vitesse,
1 x Spartan,
1 x TR4a,
1 x GT6 Convertible,
1 x Spitfire 1500,
1 x Stag
All met in Tescos car park and once we had found each other, we set off to enjoy a very lucky dry day. The route took us from Gloucester out to Winchcombe, across some beautiful Cotswold villages using some great roads not busy and not muddy just perfect for our Triumphs. Although we did find a bit of a chassis wash at one point (ford) but it was not to traumatic.
Coffee/lunch was provided nicely by the Jolly Nice Farm shop at Frampton Mansell. After lunch four of us were left to have a brisk run back to Gloucester.
A lovely trip that took in some really beautiful parts of Gloucestershire, how lucky we are to have this on our doorstep.
